An exhibition of Dorset’s finest sculptors will be held for the first time at the Stock Gaylard estate, Dorset from 18 – 24 August 2013. The exhibition will be open to the public from 10am – 6pm each day and the money raised from contributions at the door and for refreshments in the café will be donated to Home-Start North Dorset.
Visitors to the exhibition can enjoy an eclectic mix of sculpture such as, statues made from recycled and commercially unusable wood by Jamie Hart, scrap metal animals by Amy Lancaster of Metal Menagerie, who has taken inspiration from the countryside surrounding Stock Gaylard, and Kim Creswell who uses willow and materials gathered in Dorset’s hedgerows for her sculptures.
Please come along to support this event. All cake bakers and anyone available to help with the teas throughout the week, please report to Ruth in the office. Thank you.
